On the 25th of July, learners from Fourways High School took part in an art exhibition at Norscot Manor. They were given an opportunity to showcase their artistic talent. The event brought together artists, members of the local community, local businesses and various organisations dedicated to a day of creativity.
A major highlight of the competition was learners achieving outstanding results, taking home numerous titles and showcasing the high standard of artistic talent at FHS.
Congratulations to Blessing Sarila, who was named the Overall Grade 8 winner, and Kaelo Segone, who received the title Overall Grade 11 winner. Their exceptional artwork and dedication earned them these well-deserved accolades.
Several other learners were recognised with “Highly Commended” awards for their impressive artwork:

- Grade 10: Morgan Govan, Evan Willliams
- Grade 11: Gabriella Tesoriero, Unathi Malatji, Kaelo Segone
- Grade 12: Matt Brereton-Stiles, Entleh Ndlovu
The FHS choir also contributed to the day’s success by performing twice at the exhibition. Their performances entertained the audience and added to the welcoming atmosphere of the event.
Visitors enjoyed exploring a variety of stalls selling food, plush toys, clothing and raising funds to improve the community. Community organisations and local exhibitors, including the Antidote Clothing Collection, the Democratic Alliance and the Rotary Club of Fourways Main Reef, were also present, giving visitors the opportunity to engage with different groups from the Fourways community.
The exhibition was a successful celebration of talent, and community involvement. Congratulations to all the learners who participated and represented FHS with pride. Their achievements reflect the creativity and dedication that continue to make our FHS proud.
