The Fourways High School girls’ hockey teams showed incredible resilience, determination, and teamwork during an action-packed week of fixtures on the turf. Across every age group, the players displayed passion, composure, and true sportsmanship while representing the school with pride.
One of the standout performances came from the 1st Team, who secured an impressive 2–1 victory against Edenvale High School after a hard-fought match. The team also held their own in challenging fixtures against Trinity House Randpark Ridge and Hoërskool Randburg, drawing in both games with a score of 1–1 and never failing to amaze with their determination.
There were also exciting results from the younger teams, with the u/15 side earning a brilliant 3–1 win against Trinity House Randpark Ridge. Another highlight of the week was the dominant 7–0 victory by the senior girls against Midrand, showcasing excellent skill, communication, and confidence on the field.
Although there were tough matches along the way, every game brought valuable lessons and opportunities for growth. The players continued to support one another, demonstrating the strength and unity that we all aspire to.
Well done to all the players and coaches for their dedication and hard work. Fourways High is incredibly proud of the commitment, teamwork, and passion shown throughout the week.
