Fourways High School has taken a leap into the world of competitive spirit with the introduction of a new cheerleading program. This exciting addition has quickly become a hit, boosting school morale and offering a fresh opportunity for students.
Cheerleading is coached by two of our very own teachers Mrs Jeanelle Ludick, Ms Lizeth Van der Merwe and their assistant coach Angie from the “Rebels cheerleading Athletix” cheer squad. These coaches have been consistent in helping the learners reach their full potential every Tuesday and Thursday after school.
Not only does this new sport help you develop good people skills and character development but is also a good opportunity for team building and teach you how to work well with others.
Cheerleading teaches you to approach situations with a positive attitude with the urge to do everything with your full ability no matter what the situation is. These cheerleaders have the opportunity to compete in the GMCA as well as the SAMCA competitions.
