On the 13th of January, we opened the 2023 school year with our annual inter tribe gala.
Four tribes, countless students and endless cheers! Whether you were swimming in the pool or cheering on the stands, you were sure to feel the electric excitement of students shouting at the very top of their lungs in support of those swimming.
After a few years of silence, spirit is slowly but surely creeping its way back into the grounds of Fourways High School. It was an exciting day full of laughter and smiles, and although most of us went home with raspy voices, it was well worth it.
After all of that tiring swimming, Ventus found success as they were the overall winners. The Aqua tribe also didn’t go home emptyhanded as their excitement on the stands won them the Spirit award.
