Ke Nako Ya Lona – It Is Your Time!

As we begin the New Year with fresh starts and resolutions, Fourways High School and Journalism Team would like to extend a hearty welcome to the grade 8 students – The Class of 2027. Welcome to the home of the Legends- the school of red and blue. The next five years are critical in terms of developing life skills, taking on responsibilities as a maturing young adult and planning for your future.

High school might be difficult as you progress through the grades but it is not particularly horrible. At Fourways High School, we provide two service activities, eight cultural activities and eleven sports to accommodate every student. To make your high school experience more pleasurable, the school hosts interesting and vibrant activities twice a term to help you relax and keep your mind from frying from schoolwork.

However, as a grade 11, I strongly suggest you participate in as many murals as you can while also prioritising your academics. Whether it is major production, English extra lessons, hockey, photography, spirit team, first aid and sound & lighting, there is a team for you.

The most crucial years of your life are NOW; make use of them, cherish them, and have fun.

Keep in mind, ke Nako Ya Lona.
