On Wednesday, 5 August 2026, learners from Fourways High School, led by Mrs. Ehmke and supported by members of staff involved in the school’s outreach programme, took the initiative to give the Kingfisher Park play area some much-needed TLC.
Councillors, staff and student volunteers rolled up their sleeves and worked together to clean, tidy and refresh the space, helping to restore the area for the benefit of the local community and its four-legged visitors. The paint was sponsored by Dulux Fourways.
The initiative was a wonderful example of our learners putting service, responsibility and community spirit into action. Through their time and effort, they demonstrated that small acts of kindness and care can make a meaningful difference. Fourways High School is proud of everyone who volunteered their time and helped make this outreach initiative a success.
